WHAT TO BRING FOR CAVING TRIP

FOR CAMPING

•   The usual camping gear

WHAT TO WEAR IN THE CAVE

•   Long pants — no holes in knees

•   Shirt and sweatshirt

•   Hardhat with 4-point chin strap

•   Gloves

•   Old boots with lug soles

•   Synthetic socks — your feet will get wet

•   Knee and elbowpads

•   ALL ITEMS WILL GET WET & MUDDY

•        Try to wear all synthetic clothes as they shed water better than cotton

WHAT TO BRING FOR THE CAVE

•   Pig

•   Hardhat with chin strap

•   2 Garrity lights duct taped to hard hat (this is your primary light source)

•   A "pig"

•   Green garbage bag with clean underwear, pants, shirt, socks and shoes (when you come out of the cave your dirty clothes go in the bag). Be sure to put your name on the bag.

WHAT GOES IN THE PIG

•   Screw top water bottle

•   Secondary light source (flashlight)

•   Tertiary light source (candle, waterproof matches)

•   Extra batteries

•   Lunch

•        Keep all items in a zip lock plastic bag to keep the water out
