High Adventure Reminder Remember, we need to know by the December 16 Court of Honor (preferably sooner) everyone with an interest in going on the Boundary Waters Canoe Area high adventure trip next June with a $50 deposit. For more information, go to the www.troop850.org/High Adven November Backpacking Our annual First Class backpacking trip is November 14 -- 16. The deadline for signing up is November 4. Permission slips are available at www.troop850.org.		2004 Ad Altare Dei Ad Altare Dei is the Catholic religious award for Boy Scouts. It is designed for Scouts in the seventh grade or above and takes several months to complete. We plan to begin the program sometime in 2004. Any Scout who will be in the seventh grade or higher in the fall of 2004 will be eligible to participate. Mr. and Mrs. Ruhe and Mr. and Mrs. Kathman have volunteered to lead the program. If you are interested having your son participate, please let us know. Other Opportunities As busy as we are in Troop 850, there are other Scouting opportunities available which are described in the enclosed literature. This includes individual treks to the Philmont Scout Ranch every summer, and the National Jamboree which only happens every four years. If you have any interest, please let us know.

2004 Ad Altare Dei
